Ruffle back dress - Pattern by FooFoo Threads

This was my first attempt at shirring.  I have always avoided it as it looks so difficult.

Well I here to tell you it is easy as.

Back ruffles - I added an extra one.

Front is pretty with ruffle on bodice

And of course a matching headband

Lovely Isobel modeled it for me

Isobel loved it so much her mother had to wash the dress
every evening for 3 nights so Isobel could wear it the next day

Yummy Quinoa Bakes

I have lots of food intolerance's and I work on the road.  So getting something for lunch some days is quite a challenge.

I made these the other day and they are perfect.

The base recipe is 1 and 1/2 cups of Quinoa rinsed and cooked
And 6 eggs.

To this you add what ever you like
Spray your muffin pan, add mix and cook in 180 degree oven.

Here are some variations I have made.

Chicken, sundried tomatoes, capsicum, olives, onion, zucchini, goats cheese rolled in ash and basil.

The other great thing about these is they cook fast.

And they taste great cold.

Next I am going to make bacon, pumpkin and corn

Sling Bags and other things

It has been ages since I posted...other than the giveaway info. I wanted to keep the giveaway info at the top and I've been very tired and not up to much.  But,  I had my gorgeous family from Melbourne stay with me.

My son Chris, my daughter in law Kylie and little Miss Maddie

I made this cute little vintage style dress for Maddie

I think she looks gorgeous in it.
